Those who know me well, know that I have OCD well actually my daughter learned in nursing school that it is OCPD (if you want to know the difference, google it).
Because of this my home is pretty tidy and organized. A friend of mine has been on me every day about posting tips on how to be organized so that is what we are doing here!
ABOUT ME
What you have to understand is OCPD manifests differently in everyone; when we were young my best friend and I drove my daddy crazy because every day he would come in and straighten the pillows on the couch, straighten the placemats on the dining table and straighten the curtains so there was no crack. So we messed those things up every day to watch him straighten them. Lord forgive us! As he grew older a lot of his quirks went away as some of mine have as I grow older and I hope some of my daughters will as well. Daddy still had quirks up til the day he passed, like no water being in the sink. So when you wash your hands or a dish you have to dry out the sink when you are done. I definitely don’t care about water in the sink! For me my biggest issue is not being able to wait, so while having a clean home is wonderful, not being able to rest if things are not done is not. So I have to try and control my constant need to clean.
