I recently got a Devon Rex kitty, his name is Bodee and I love him so much! But me being me, I researched everything to death. My friends could not believe I got a cat because of my need to have everything clean but Devon Rex’s do not shed so that solved that issue however the litter box issue was a huge undertaking with much trial and error. So I am going to share with you all the things to purchase to make your lives easier!

First off picking a good litter is most important, I tried all the different brands with my original favorite being Swheat Scoop litter and while I loved everything about it, it did not control odor as well as the clay so I ultimately made the switch back to Dr. Elsey’s. Great for odor and clumping, it does still track a little but I haven’t found a litter that doesn’t! You think you are done but here are the really good tips! If you buy this food grade wax and wax the bottom of your litter box, this also works for automatic litter boxes, then it will keep the tinkles from sticking to the bottom of your box. Now, assuming you scoop daily, you just need to sprinkle a little of this Rocco & Roxie Litter Deodorizer to your litter. Just sprinkle a bit to the top of the litter and the best part is your cat will mix it in. Well that is all I can think of right now, I know this is a lot, but since I did the research thought I would share. I am on the fence right now about getting an automatic litter box but it will not fit in my cat closet and I am loving having a room just for my litter so we will see.
